It's simply October....

the muses of men

Welcome to October šŸŽƒ,

Let’s keep the preamble simple, and let’s get to the point!

🧐 Thought(s) of the Week

How can I get the bad bitches If I ain’t sleeping right? It may sound asinine but my success is predicated on simply getting more sleep. Low energy is the bane of productivity.

The key to all my dreams is literally my dreams.

ā¤ļø Weekly Highlights

1 - I’ve finally prioritized my Sleep. The one singular thing I’ve found is that health leads to overall long-term better outcomes. I’ve been consistent with exercise and nutrition but my sleep has been lagging behind. As such this week has been about getting the best sleep possible.

2 - Completed my Calendar Time-Blocking. It now revolves around my sleep schedule of course. Take a peak — it’s all based on the Trident Method šŸ”±, which is explained in the video by Ali Abdaal in the interesting contents section.

šŸ“šInteresting Content

1 - Manage your time like a G.

2 - Have more kids, this is why South Korea is dying out

What this is telling me is that I need to be like Genghis Khan and have 100 children by 20 women like clockwork.

3 - Keep it Simple, and refine.

He may be talking about building a simple business and refining it over time, but this applies to most things in life. During the process of self-improvement, there are many paths to choose and many variables. But a true and tried method to succeed is to have a simple singular goal and to refine and be consistent over time.

4 - I’ve been on a ā€˜90s ROM Com Binge (Romantic Comedy)

It’s interesting to see the beauty standards of the ā€˜90s, it looks a lot more modest, it seemed like just being an average guy with an average build could get you far. In contrast to what’s prized today. Women had smaller boobs, smaller butts, and overall more attainable beauty standards. There was beauty in simplicity.

Romantic Comedies, let me think about how the concept of love has seemed to become more of a novelty, rather than the standard. Or maybe I’m just all grown up now and didn’t understand it was never as important.
