Short Friday,
It’s the end of the week, but too bad I see every day as a weekday. The concept of just taking a day off seems so anachronistic, something of my very distant childhood and teenage years.
Thought(s) of the Day
I create enemies of people to make myself feel better about not doing what I need to do. “I’m doing all this but they’re only doing that, thus it justifies my poor performance”
I’m aware of this chirping devil in my mind and I reject it constantly. Making an enemy of someone that doesn’t need to be an enemy, when the problem is myself. We try to project our insecurities onto others.
